Before using your insurance, it’s a good idea to know the specifics of your acupuncture coverage including deductible (an out-of-pocket amount you pay before your insurance starts covering visits), number of visits allowed, copay and any restrictions on coverage. You can usually find this out with a phone call to your insurance provider. If you need help finding out this information, my billing person can enquire for you.

Insurance will not cover cost of herbs, but HSAs often do.

DSHS, Medicare, WA State health plans and L&I currently do not cover acupuncture.
